No Fuel getting to Engine

Hi I hope someone can help.

I have an 83 maxima and it's been off the road for a couple of months now because I can't figure out what is wrong with it. There doesn't seem to be any fuel getting to the engine, fuel filter in engine is brand new but the fuel doesn't seem to be making it up that far, tried replacing fuel pump but it does the exact same thing with the new one. Any hints on what the problem could be.

Its either the fuel pump fuse (located in your fuse box) or the fuel pump relay has a short. If you get a haynes manual it will help you find the problem.

Thank you, I will check that out. I was having problems with my fuse box as well but I didn't think the two would be related. I had to take a fuse out because everything in the car was going nuts and it never did that before. So maybe if I get some new fuses and try plugging them back in hopefully that will work. I will also pick up a manual. THank you again. If it is only a fuse I will be quiet upset. lol It has been sitting since april like this.
