I drive a '84 maxima with 135k miles -- runs great. Well, it used to -- while driving in city traffic, it dies after sitting at a stop light. A friend thinks that I need a new computer. Which sensors send info that would tell the computer to stop sending fuel? I would like to clean those connectors that may have become corroded and dirty.

Wow, sounds familiar. Our 84 Max has about 130k now too. We had a problem like that with ours. We'd drive on the highway for about 50 miles with no problems until we stop in city traffic where it dies. I think it was some sort of valve. Not sure, it was quite awhile ago. Hope your car gets fixed!
