Torquing Right (Firewall ) Cam Gear Bolt
#2
a 3/8" drive torque wrench with a shallow 14mm socket can be done all day! Or place a boxed end wrench on the cam sprocket bolt and torque the cam retaining bolt on the transmission side of the engine!

I did manage to get my 1/2 torque wrench behind the pwr strg lines and on the cam bolt. Too bad my 3/8 wrench only goes to 250 in-lbs.
Now your thinking out of the box
Or place a boxed end wrench on the cam sprocket bolt and torque the cam retaining bolt on the transmission side of the engine!

Both mine are rather high....My 3/8 " drive Snap-On Torque wrench is 1000 in/lbs and my Craftman is 75 ft/lbs (900 in/lbs).....
