Leaking Windshield Washer Pump ?

Anyone had this problem? Are any aftermarket replacement pumps any good? My pump works, but if I fill the reservoir more than an inch it leaks. The pump seal and tank looks OK ( no cracks). I also replace a section of washer hose, since the leak drips at the hose pump connection. It look like the pump is leaking internally. Minor problem, but it's a PITA in this winter weather.

sounds like the grommet that goes around the pump, I would start there. yea mine leaks bad to the point of I don't use it at all, I haven't gotten around to pulling it out and fixing it..... you might be able to get away with just pulling it out, pulling the pump out and clean it up really well then using some silicone around the grommet, but best would be to replace if you can find one that would be the proper size. Also check for cracks in the reservoir if I remember right there is a seam there and might just need to be sanded then epoxy used to seal it.

best thing to do is pull it out, put some food coloring in water and put that in, that way you can see where it is coming from

That what I was going to do, with the blue colored washer fluid. Water with food color is a good idea too.
