Oil Pan

Hey guys, does anyone know if the oil pan on the 3rd gen is exact fit as the 2nd gen??? Since I can not the life of me find a new oil pan for my 87 SE since I have a dented pan by the oil drain plug when I got the car. So I was looking online and see a 3rd gen looks identical like the 2nd gen but just wondering about the fitment.

it should be, engines and transmissions are the same between 2nd and 3rd other then the A-B, W block thing and the VE in 3rd gen SE but everything from the VG30E from the heads down will swap between them, intake will also but would require ECU and harness swap also

I believe using a 3rd gen Exhaust on a 2nd gen may bring a little more power and free up alot of engine room...the oil pan should be the same...
