Right after the cold weather the power steering fluid got air in it and overflows out of the reservoir along with the usual very noisy pump. Probably a hose or seal went out, so also I am checking the likely causes: reservoir suction hose to pump and clamps, return hoses and clamps. The pump looks dry with no leaks at the pulley shaft and body. No leaks the rack looking from the top side.

Does the oring on the suction inlet on the pump often go bad ? Any other things I should check?
