Hi, I need more information on the '87 Nissan Maxima SE. I can't find any information about this car anywhere on the Internet other than a poster of it for sale on EBay. Please give me some of the specs.

The specs for our cars is 152hp @ 5200rpm, 168lb-ft @3600rpm. 3.0 SOHC 12V engine, 5spd manual or 4spd auto. One of these days I will scan my brochuer for my 87 max.

Hmm, I think you got your number mixed up. I don't think the GXE should be running faster 1/4 miles than the SE. Unless of course the GXE was tested with a 5-speed and the SE with an auto.

I am pretty sure that the GXE is faster than the SE. The GXE is a higher level.

No, no the SE is the sport model. The lower profile exterior (no chrome), sport suspension, analog gauges. The GXE is available with all the luxury stuff like leather, chrome, digital gauages etc.

Either way both models should run nearly identical 1/4 miles, the deciding factor is the tranny.
