I am looking for adjustable coilovers for my 2nd Generation Maxima (1986). I am tired of looking through magazine to find websites that has them for sale. Where can I find them?

No one makes coilovers for the 2nd gens. You can get a set of Eibach lowering springs from http://www.stillen.com or a set of Intrax lowering springs from http://www.intraxsuspension.com ST also makes a set of lowering springs for our cars. Hi. I want better handling for my maxima. Would the lowering springs help in handling or will it just be there for looks? Also, I am looking for larger brake systems. Do you know any good places online?

Yeah, lowering springs are a definite necessity if you want better handling. Most performance cars that handle well sit much lower than regular cars. Of course, you'll want to change out your struts too. The only decent ones that I know of are KYB GR2. Don't get any cheap sh*t Monroes or something like that.

There's really not too much in the way of brake options. There's a company called KVR Performance that makes cross-drilled rotors. I think there's another comapny that makes them too. Rotors and a good set of pads will help a bit, but at a pretty steep price. I don't know of anyone who makes multi-piston calipers or any other braking options though.

You can also get a bigger rear sway bar for the rear too. This will help the handling even more than the springs i think. You can also have a custom front strut tower brace made for the car. I dont think anybody makes them for our car so you might have to make it yourself or find a friend that can do it.
