This Is Awsome, For 87's Or 88's
Hey guys, I have an 87 maxima. I had an odd idea the other day so i did it. I painted the tips of my odometer buttons silver, then proceded to paint the outter cover of my trunk ejector, securily light, defroster, cruise control, and option button (that i don't have) silver. I also painted my e brake handle silver and also the small casing that goes around the locks on the doors. It all looks very nice, it makes the car look a bit more modern, don't ask me how. Hopefully I will have pictures of it soon.

never used fabric paint. but all the hard plastic in your max czn be spray painted scuff it up with light sand paper, clean it off prime it, and paint it. if you use high build sandable primer. spray it 3-4 times lightly sanding between coats, your parts look like fiberglass. tell me how the fabric paint works!!!!!! oh yeah, vinal dye works good on the dash

I just bought an '87, and some retard (previous owner) painted a bunch of the plastic in the interior WHITE. It looks like CRAP. It's all flaking off, getting crusty and nasty, and with the brown/beige interior in a white car, I don't even think it looked that good to begin with.
If you're going to get into that, at least do it right!!
