Some people rather have used than rebuilt. I know that if I'm shopping for a 4th gen alternator I don't want no rebuilt they always such (my experience). If you have something construtive to add pls do. I don't care what u guys think I posted these to give org comunity the opportunity to have them if they want them. I can sell em (and have been for the last few yrs.) without the added problem of shipping and all of that. Not every one want rebuilt is what I'm saying bottom line.

I did have something constructive to add, i made sure that every newbie that strolled into this thread knows that he/she can buy new window regulators with new motors for the same price as a your worn out used regs..It's called looking out for your fellow orger.

Hey man, i'm all for making a few bucks on some used parts, but most of your prices on used stuff is so far out of range from the normal prices, it's just appalling to me..

Well what I'll do in the future is just continue to sell my stuff locally where nobody complains about the prices, remember I live in NYC and my prices are at or below junk yards. Alot of my customers tell me that I carry some dealer items that they would have to pay hundreds of dollars more for if I didn't have it. Oh yeh the word newbie doesn't mean stupid.

Nobody is forcing you to buy anything so don't be appalled. You don't even have to look at the fs/wtb when you see my name.

But it does mean most are uneducated as to what these parts go for on here and in most junkyards, your prices do not reflect either..I could care less if you part out on here or not, my only point in posting here is to protect my fellow orgers, nothing more.

Look Captian SaveEm I do my best to make sure that anyone who deals with me locally, here, craigslist or ebay is satisfied with the entire experience of doing busines with me. Don't try to portray me as some type of shady character. I haven't done much busines on this forum but what I have done is clean and everyone invovled has been happy thus far. If I have an issue at anytime with a transaction I sit on it til it's made right. When I travel around the country and visit junky yard it is true that my prices don't reflect whats goin on outside new york. I saw a third gen steering rack, in good condition, for $30.00 in Maryland. Theres no way your getting that in New York for that price. I post my parts for people that want em bottem line. Yes you can get them cheaper but it's been my experience that price isn't everything. I don't have to ***** my parts out and I don't have to sit on them that long either.

Fine, sell your parts for NY prices in NEW YORK, but outside of NY your prices are ridiculously high. Lets face it, everything in NY is priced 3 times higher then what the other 99% of the us pays for crap. your prices on parts do not reflect what nearly 100% of everyone else selling parts in the 3rd gen classifieds prices used parts for, so don't come off with that "it's ok to sell it for that price here" crap with me, i'm not buying into it. Plain and simple..

For what it's worth - new window regulators aren't "rebuilt" and are actually of higher quality than the OEM regulators. New regulators actually have reinforced sections to prevent them from failing like the OEM regulators.

Don't bother trying to explain anything to him mang, he knows full and well that his prices are 100yds out in left field compared to standard used market prices for maxima parts. He doesn't care, he's hoping to find some dumb sap willing to pay his price for used parts..

I don't hope anything I sell parts everyday. I don't deal with dummies because morons cause trouble. Like I said nobody that I sold anything on this forum has made a complaint. You dudes have no idea, If your ina part of the country that makes my prices seem hi my hats off to you. Where I live a ve auto ecu if $125.00 to $150.00 in the junk yard I sell em for $80.00 to $100.00 if thats taking advantage of anybody then I guess Ima bastard for that. My friend (before he met me) went to get a window reg put in his car and the guy charged him $75.00 bux and was looking for a tip when he finished. I put a regulator in my customers car for the same $40.00 I charge for the parts. So fellas I am far from the oportunistic snake in the grass you are tryn portray me as. This is as simple as geographic difference in what you look at as a fair market price. What is fair to you is practically free in NY. Give me a effen break. You think I wake up in the morning wondering who I can rip off on the org? I got a life maybe you should get one too.
