WTB: Front Pass Spring Eibach preferred, will consider OEM

Hey. Well isn't this a bugga. My front passenger side Eibach Pro Spring sheared in half. I installed these back in 2004, and Eibach has discontinued them for 3rd gens, so I doubt Eibach will be of much help.
I'm looking for an Eibach front passenger spring preferably, will consider an OEM just to get it on the road for the right price. If you have an OEM, keep in mind I can pull one from the wreckers, so don't get silly on the prices guys. I'm only interested because it will save me the trouble of pulling one.

Let me know what you have. Price + ship to me in Toronto.

Cheers mates!

Dang, that's terrible. I wonder how that could even happen

I've got several front OEM springs

I'll send you one for just the shipping cost. I don't know how much shipping would be, but I can figure it out. PM me your address

I can get it sent out as early as tomorrow morning

Yeah, I'd like to know how it happened too. It's a good thing I wasnt moving at high speed when it happened. I was actually just pulling away from a stop when SNAP! Then the right side caved. Then POP! My wheel blew. It carved a perfect circle on the back face of the tire. My 17" tires were now 12's.

I'll PM you address details. Thank goodness for the OG's!

I have a pair of front eibachs I would be willing to sell you. I bought the set, from a member here but I only put the rears on. I'll sell them to you for half of what I paid for them. If you are interested then let me know. I will have to look back at my paypal records to see what I paid for them.

Well I am interested, and I would have preferred to match the rest of my springs with another Eibach, but James is sending me an OEM spring for shipping cost. Let me know I guess, but I won't want to pay half the price of a full set. They just don't have that value to me for one spring that it may for someone else. Cheers.

I guess that's cool? I have exactly what you want and you won't pay half of what I paid for them? Wow Enjoy your uneven front end. I bought the springs from Brad, in this thread. http://forums.maxima.org/1st-3rd-gen...rting-out.html

You're flaming me? Not the best sales technique.
I didn't know you got the Eibachs from a trashed car.
Because you hadn't told me these were springs from a rolled vehicle, I made the assumption you were offering me two fronts at half the price of 'retail' that someone else on the org paid, and because I only need one spring, the value isn't in it for me to pay (what I thought was) half of retail. Add to this, that I am in Canada, so there's the increased shipping cost and duties to consider - even on crappy used parts.
You could have just named a price. You only got them in April. You forgot what you paid?
The 3rd gem isn't my DD anymore - I have a G35x. No, I won't enjoy an uneven front end, but it will get my car back on the road.
I feel bad answering in a defensive tone. It's not generally in my personality to do that, but you called me out and laugh in my face? What's that all about? Why go to the trouble of doing that to people you share a common love of a car with? Without your Maxima brothers you're in a club all by yourself.

Anyway, let me know what you want for it lol.

Okay, I feel exacly the same way you do just on the other side of the potential transaction. From my view I offer you exactly what you are looking for for what I paid for them. I assume that would be of some value to you. I had not even mentioned a price and you are telling me you are willing to pay next to nothing for them. As for that not being a good sales technique, I do not need to sell these, I was just posting up that I have what you are looking for. You are right I do not remember how much I paid for them. I have 3 cars that I modify....I buy lots of stuff, that's why I said I would check my paypal records. I paid Brad $220 for the set of used springs and a used rear strut tower bar. I would take $60 + freight on them.

I was upfront. I wanted to keep cost down. A set, or half a set doesn't have as much value to me (compared to other buyers) because of my situation; I only need one spring, I live in Canada, I will get nailed with taxes and duties. When your offer came in I had just laid out $30 for James to ship me an OEM spring. As kooky as wanting only one spring may sound, I was clear beforehand what I needed and where I stood. You didn't offer me exactly what I wanted, you offered me exactly 2 of what I wanted, and then flamed me. I don't like being flamed. I'm 40 with a 3 yr old kid. I have enough headache with her lol.
I stated upfront I wanted 1 spring only. Two, doubles the weight, which increases shipping. Two, is one more than I will ever need, because I won't be keeping the car long enough to use the other one. Two, is twice the cost of one. I don't expect you to break up your set of fronts, but this thread was a call out to people who were willing to.
If you are willing to, $30 is the cost to ship one spring here. If you can sell me 1 spring for $30+30 shipping I can do that. I might have considered taking both had I not just paid $30 to ship the OEM here.
