FS: 1 New Fuel Injector ($15)

I have a brand-new fuel injector for sale. It fits all 1989 & 1990 Nissan Maxima, as well as 1991 & 1992 Maxima with SOHC engines. This fuel injector is a replacement for Nissan part # 16600-85E06 which is superseded by 16600-21V02.

This fuel injector is brand-new. It was purchased from Beck/Arnley in August 2006. Never used. Beck/Arnley part # 158-0654. I can provide my purchase invoice if needed. I initially purchased this one because only 1 of the 6 was bad. I later decided to replace all 6 and went for Nissan OEM.

This is NOT a remanufactured or rebuilt unit. It comes with 2 O-rings.

This fuel injector’s resistance is 12.3 ohms, measured by my Fluke multi-meter. Factory spec for this injector is 10 – 14 ohms. I can provide a picture with a multi-meter connected to this injector to show resistance reading. Since I can’t post pictures on this forum, if you’re interested, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I’ll send you pictures of this injector via e-mail. I paid over $80 for it and will sell for $15, priority mail via USPS to lower 48 states included.

Do you have any other parts you will be selling? I might have grabbed this for the heck of it along with the belts, but no biggie. I'd be interested in seeing a pic if you can e-mail one to me.

Thanks man

Yes, still on sale as of now. If you just need 1, this is a hard-to-find deal.

Have you sold your injector yet? Would like to buy if not,

So you decided to put a whole new set in, eh? Could you share what drove you to this decision? Did you find a good deal on all 6? Did you do the job yourself? How much $ did it cost to install? How's the car running now?

I am going through the same thought process now (1 fouling inj., all others good, 230K on car and never touched injectors), whether to buy one or all. need to find a good deal on 6 (and would love to hear any real world war stories from members who have been running remanuf. injectors, NOT from those who say 'don't buy remanuf.' and have never tried them.) Thanks!

It's still available for sale. I sold my car for $300 after a crash. I originally had just 1 bad injector so I bought this one from Beck Arnley. Before I had a chance to install it, 2 more got bad. I heard OEM injectors are of much better quality so I got 6 OEM from a website for about $125 each and install them myself. In about a year, the car was totled. In general, reman are expected to be short-lived. New after-market ones (the one I'm selling) are better than reman but not as good as OEM. So it's a choice between how much $ you want to spend and the expected remaining life of your car. In my case, I spent over $600 on OEM but only use them for about a year - wrong choice to use OEM. I suggest you go to Beck Arnley's website to confirm that mine is a new injector, not reman.

I just sent you a personal message. I'm confused though...

In your original post you state "This is NOT a remanufactured or rebuilt unit. It comes with 2 O-rings". But I need to confirm this via Beck Arnley's website? Am I misunderstanding something?

Sorry for the confusion. I was saying if you go to Beck Arnley's site, put in the part # in my first post, you can confirm that this injector is new (i.e. not reman). I didn't mean you need to do that. But if you have any doubt if this is a new or reman unit, you can verify that on the website using my part #. I'm going to send you 3 pictures of this injector via e-mail now. The part # is on the box next to the injector.

Just sent e-mail to you with pics. You don't have to confirm it's a new injector. I've done that. But if you don't want to take my words, you can verify that on Beck Arnley's site.
