How do the VQ injectors differ from the VE ones?

I have a problem with one of my rear cylinders not firing. I am thinking a clogged or bad injector. I am thinking about just trying to stick one in there to see if that is it. I tried different coil packs and cleaning the plug. I put in seafoam and two gallons of non-ethanol premium, too.

Car sat for a year and I only started it maybe 10 times until I got the new clutch in there last week.

Chris my friend there is no difference btwn the 2. They are identical except one is newer than the other from the factory.

None at all. When I crashed the VE I was running on 5 VE injectors and 1 VQ injector. I still have the other 5.

They don't. When I crashed the VE I was running on (5) VE injectors and (1) VQ injector. I still have the other (5). Plus two rails with injectors. I have a bag of pintle caps (injector tips) somewhere.

Darn! I was hoping to get that VTC kit. Do you know where else they are available and what the price might be? I checked with CourtesyParts.com and they said Nissan doesn't have them available.

Hey Augustus,

Do you still have the MAF and VQ injectors?

No problems with them before the accident?

Thanks,
Ghostmax
