I found a couple on ebay but they are advertised as sohc only. I have the ve so i dont think those strut bars would work...if not im looking to buy one asap.

You can buy one for a 2000-2003 5th gen, most of them fit the VE.

I know for certain the Otto Racing 5th gen bar fits, as I personally have one. Not sure if they still make them, but the Otto bar is just a clone of the Stillen bar (or vice versa perhaps), so the Stillen bar should fit too. Again though not sure if those are still around.

If you're looking at generic cheap eBay ones, any 5th gen bar that angles up in the center should fit

Why wouldn't the GXE strut bar fit? the struts are the same.

The VE intake manifold sits up much higher than the VG. GXE struts bars are typically just solid straight bars connecting the strut towers, which does not work with the VE because it won't clear the intake manifold. That's why the VE strut bar needs to be shaped like the top of a stop sign

Test fitted it today, holes match-up & it clears the intake manifold, it's a go. 5th gen strut tower bar fits our 3rd gens.

Thanks again James92SE!

I can't remember the name of the place i got mine but they were in north york i believe. If im not mistaken they had an ad on kijiji. Try going on kijiji and do a search on there and you may find it otherwise im sure there's someone local on kijiji that can get it for you.

Try here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listi...02BMNXNP8SY9Q9

Should've gotten mine from there, forgot to check, could've saved $10
