im just sitting here, checking the org and watching tv. a movies on USA, with harrison ford and the guy from James Bond: Golden Eye, the evil guy he was 006. anyway, when the red van is trying to catchup with harison fords wife in the porsche you can see a Black 92-94 3rd Gen SE maxima. its in the middle lanes and is shown for maybe 5 seconds? heres how to tell, 1. its a maxima 2. it has foglights so its an SE 3. the middle of the grill has the hamburger nissan badge, not the one in the lower right hand corner saying "nissan"

just thought i'd let you guys know, maybe even start a thread telling what other movies or shows or anything has maximas in it i know there have been some smaller threads... just a thought

I watched the same movie today too...but didn't see the max

 

i was watching the birdcage and there was a black SE in the alley close to the end oh the movie

 

Ok the movie is called Patriot Games and its funny u spotted it cause I was just watching that movie the other day. The guy from goldeneye his name in that movie was Trevlan. Oh ya I didnt get to see the Max im gonna have to watch it again.

Quick question though u said that the Max was an SE because it had the grille that had the nissan hamburger logo in the middle. But dont get me wrong but doesnt the SE come with the grille that has the nissan logo on the bottom right?

 

92-94 maximas have the "hamburger" in the middle of the grill....he could tell it was a SE by the fogs That makes it a VE powered max

 

Therefore, the '89-'91 Max have the word Nissan on the lower pasenger side.

I saw a GXE in the previews for the new movie for a kid that is a bear. I saw one on SPY TV one time. Everytime I see one I get pretty excited.

Chrome versus body colored grill. That is the easiest way to tell. You can also look at the window moldings, if they are chrome, it is a GXE.

 

rent "Menace II Society" ...the two kids in the movie try to steal a Black '89 SE with like 16" rims from a parking garage...i got pretty amped when i saw that the other night...

 

In the Spiderman movie, they have a 4th gen two houses down from tobey's uncle's house.

Changing Lanes, a 5th gen rolls from right to left in the first 5min of the movie
Altima rolls by right to left in Something About Mary. happens 1/2 way into movie, in front of girl's house as the spy's in his car (daytime)
Pink's Get This Party Started music video has a 200sx.
In Shallow Hal, one of the girls drives a volvo 740 gle turbo (sorry, my 1st car was a 85 volvo 740 gle, which i just donated 2 days ago cuz nobody would buy it)

yeah, it's called Changing Lanes, it's a pretty recent movie with Samuel L Jackson and Ben Affleck (I think)

I'll ask my apt-mate to borrow his digital video camera and make my own movie of 2k2 and 2k3 Nissans at Nissan Design Center here in San Diego. I should see if my gf wants to be an import model and spread herself over some unknown person's Nissan. I'll make sure she leaves butt and boob prints on the cars. lol.
