The back window on the passenger side of my Maxima is broken. What should I do?

P/W

I have read that the window regulator is a common ailment on our cars. It's a DIY job, though not trivial, and they are fifty-some-odd bucks or so. Call Courtesy Nissan for a good price.

How so?

Is it just not moving? Stuck in position? If so it's 99% most likely the regulator. It's a known problem. Courtesy has upgraded regulators for sale around $50. http://www.courtesyparts.com

Here's what happened...

I went to roll down the window one day, and it went down about 4 or 5 inches, but it made a really wierd sound, so I stopped. I knew something was broken by the sound, so I at least attempted to roll it back up and it was trying to go up but it was stuck down. I think it's the regulator. It is described the same way I just did on Kaleb's FAQ.

There is a Maxima.org discount at Courtesy right?
