This may sound like a dumb question but could anyone elaborate on what is a reactive muffler?

Thanks in advance

I think that you are confusing that with a brand of mufflers called RACTIVE. If your not then I have no Idea what your talking about. There was talk about ractive mufflers on another post and I think thats where your getting it from.

I did not know what it was. I think you have cleared it. It is a brand name. However, I learned it on this forum earlier. I am looking for an aftermarked muffler.

Thanks Chris

RACTIVE is a brand name, I don't know about the quality of their products. I just bought a apexi muffler, we'll see how it turns out.

Thanks Jonathan. I searched the web and found a site selling those. They seem to be ok, but I am not an expert in mufflers. Does Apexi make a muffler for 3rd gen. Can I ask where did you buy it and how much it cost?

Thanks

Basically all mufflers are universal. If you buy any muffler you can put it on a 3rd gen. You dont have to worry about it not fitting in the muffler compartment like some other imports have to deal with. You can get a decent muffler for around $150. O would recommend that ractive. They have a nice deep sound that isnt to loud or annoying. It really lets you hear the power of the VG though.

Thanks Chris92gxe. Do you by any chance have their web site handy. I will also try to search the web.
