Thinking about new graphics

Ran this past redmaxpa007 the other night: Thinking of taking off the 2 little stripes on my rocker panels just in front of the back wheels and replacing the little logo decals with fresh ones. They're looking pretty dirty after all these years. Then I was thinking about getting one of those thin stripes down the side right under the side windows that's broken up kinda on angles like the stripes that Signal Auto puts on their Silvia's and Skyline's. Silver with a fine yellow border or shadow. Gotta rice it up a bit for Nopi. Not sure if I'm gonna like it though. May not last long if I don't. Chris, I already know what you're gonna say, what do the rest of you think? Something else subtile that you think would look better?

i like your decals now actually but I realize since you show your car so often every year i'm sure the judges would like to see something different. I know you're not the typical ricer so it'll be tasteful i'm sure...

bet you didn't expect that response

Nope. I'm keeping the 3rd gen when I get a 2K3 anyway.

That was very diplomatic. There might be hope for you yet.
Jeff and Rob actually said they think yellow with a silver border would be better since I'd be removing the stripes from the rocker panels. Sounds like too much yellow to me, but we'll see.

I agree that the yellow may be a little too much, I think that silver with a gunmetal gray shadow would look pretty good. It would also depend on the color of your car.
