New struts and the ABS bracket.
New struts and the ABS bracket.
Hey people,
Bought new Monroes and they don't come with the ABS bracket.
This a problem? Just let it hang? Do the Tokikos/KYB/other come with this bracket?
Thanks again,
Rungi

Well what happened is when I took my Tokico struts out to put my Eibachs in, BOTH little screws that hold the ABS wire snapped off. I didn't have my drill and tap kit with me so I strapped it on the strut with some duct tape. After a week, it fell off and sliced my CV boot open. I then replaced the boot and drilled out one nut (the other is hopeless), but didn't have any zip ties, so I drove the couple miles to my apartment (from my friend's house) but as soon as I got on my street, my ABS light came on. Doh!!
I already got it. BTW, you are the most insane box packer I know. Nice job using those AOL 1000hr for free CD's as cushioning!
I swapped in the CD player section but I am getting an error reading. IT seems like the motor doesn't want to start up. Maybe I can switch the motor of my CD unit into your unit, which hopefully will play from both channels. Since they're both broken, I see no reason to try, and if it doesn't work, looks like I'll get aftermarket.
