New struts and the ABS bracket.

Hey people,

Bought new Monroes and they don't come with the ABS bracket.
This a problem? Just let it hang? Do the Tokikos/KYB/other come with this bracket?

Thanks again,
Rungi

Do NOT let them hang, they'll rub into the CV axle and either rip the boot or tear into the wire. Don't ask how I know!

At minimum, get some large zip ties and strap it to the strut housing. do NOT leave is hanging- as you can learn from Ken's mistakes there.

Well what happened is when I took my Tokico struts out to put my Eibachs in, BOTH little screws that hold the ABS wire snapped off. I didn't have my drill and tap kit with me so I strapped it on the strut with some duct tape. After a week, it fell off and sliced my CV boot open. I then replaced the boot and drilled out one nut (the other is hopeless), but didn't have any zip ties, so I drove the couple miles to my apartment (from my friend's house) but as soon as I got on my street, my ABS light came on. Doh!!

I already got it. BTW, you are the most insane box packer I know. Nice job using those AOL 1000hr for free CD's as cushioning! I swapped in the CD player section but I am getting an error reading. IT seems like the motor doesn't want to start up. Maybe I can switch the motor of my CD unit into your unit, which hopefully will play from both channels. Since they're both broken, I see no reason to try, and if it doesn't work, looks like I'll get aftermarket.
