strut question..please help immediately!!!!
I have an 89 max with 126,000 miles and I just replaced the front 2 struts with kyb's and it seems like my car is sitting mad high. Is this because I have'nt done my rears yet??..And when I do my rears will my car sit high all around??..(By the way I have some 215/50/17 inch falkens)...Also if the wheel gap stays so spacey, if i decide to get ST springs will it hurt my kyb's?..My car is just an everyday driving car i don't race or autocross or anything. I just want the better handle and look. one more thing
Will i need an alignment if i just do struts without springs?

Actually i just replaced my front struts with KYB too. I have intrax springs and i didnt notice much difference in hieght its still low like before. the only difference i noticed is i need an alignment REALLY BAD, and it handles way better than before!!!!
If the front end of the car is truly "way higher" thaan it was before, then your struts may be misaligned when they were reinstalled. KYB struts aren't the highest pressure gas struts out there. Performance gas struts will increase your ride height if installed without lowering springs. This could also be a problem of your spring not being in the groove or something. How much higher is it?
