stock alarms saves...system/rims/car AGAIN

just the other day some f@cker broke into my ride at about 3 am in the morning. right when it went off i heard it ran outside and those f@ckers takes off fast. I dont know how i heard it but i guess when it comes to my max i just hear it. At first i wasnt really mad because they only broke the the driverside small rear window....i was kinda laughing because i had a spare window all this time and those f@ckers thought they were gonna get a phat system or maybe my 17's. but then in the morning i woke to go to work at 7 and found a big a$$ scratch from pryin downt the window. I was like damn...f@ck!!!! they didnt have to scratch it up damn it. i think thats f@cked up!!!

Start leaving a note on your dash "if you're going to steal, please use the rear door, I left it open for you so you don't have to break anything".

or

"It's ok to break the windows, just don't scratch the paint, I left a tip for you in the glove box if you respect the paint"

stock alarm? mine only goes on if i open a door/hood/trunk w/o a key. How'd yours get triggered?
my altima was broken into a few weeks ago. They busted my front passenger window and got my cd changer. I bought a replacement window from car-part.com for $75 and received it the next day.

they must have crawled through your broken window to get to your CD player, then...the stock alarms go off if you open a door from the inside handle while the alarm is set. They guys who broke into his car probably smashed a window...didnt set off the alarm with that...but then the dumb guys probably tired to make it easier for themselves by opening the door with the inside handle. That's what set it off!

the other day i had my car parked in my friends driveway witht eh windows down and doors locked. He pulled the lock up from the outside of the car and the alarm went off. How do you turn the alrm off if you set it off by mistake? I sat there for like 10 minutes and it eventually went off.

You have to use your key in the door to lock and unlock it again.\

yes the only way to stop the stock alarm is to use your key as if you are unlocking your door. The stock alarm is set when you lock your doors while its open and hold your door handle to lock the whole car. If it is set correctly you will see the security light on the dash. It'll stay for about 30 sec or so and turn off. Its n ot set if your security light flashes on and off. Well...at least not on mine. But what the h3ll....this damn stock alarm saved me a lot ....didnt it???

Back when I own my 90 SE auto and living in San Francisco, the stock alarm saved the car like 3 times. Each time the would be thief broke the rear triangle window, which is good since they're the cheapest to replace. Bless those thieves! (NOT!)

Anyway, they (thieves) sure can dissapear quickly, don't they! Once I ran out to the car pretty much right away, and there's no sign of them anywhere! Did they just dissapear into thin air?

Though it's not as if I know what to do if I ran into them face to face...

I see u guys are having problems with your cars. Here's an alarm system that'll save u some money.

Get a coil pack.

Wire some contacts to your seats so when u sit in the seat the contacts close. use this contact wire as the ground for the coil (can u see where this is going?....)

Connect the secondary output from the coil to the springs in your seat (see it yet?...)

Connect a switch inbetween the ground and the body, and label "ALARM KILL SWITCH"...reverse the labels.... (man the irony....)

Run 12v to coil.

Connect and make sure all wires are run properly.

gently lay down chihuahua in seat...

Instructions for use:

LEAVE DOORS OPEN!
LEAVE SWITCH ON! (i.e. until u are entering car. remember to switch off before u sit in seat or u will have a shocking revelation...)SEDATE CHIHUAHUA WITH TRANQUILIZER!
TELL FAMILY ABOUT SYSTEM BEFORE LENDING THEM CAR!
STOP SHOUTING INSTRUCTIONS!

why not just sleep the car?

I don't know about you guys, but I would rather toast drivers on the street... I mean the track!!! (no illegal talk here... )

Just bring out the power in your max... and leave the fanfare behind... body kits? who needs them? DVD players and MP3 players? man, you could do better stuff with that money.

Maybe what I'm getting at is... you could make your car look nice and cool with stickers, wings, and exterior mods... but thats what attracts the population of "map thieves"..

When and if I get done with my car... I'll be the car with the license plate: SNOOZE
