Shifting from 1st to 2nd!
#1
When I really feel like giving it, I punch it in 1st gear then when it almsot redlines a shift it in 2nd and punch the gas, at the exact moment when I floor the 2nd my steering wheel jerks for a fraction of a second either to the left or to the right.
Does this have anything to do with the tork on the front wheels??

Torque steer
I think torque steer is more what you feel when you nail the gas in a tight turn, say pulling a U-turn in 1st gear. If you nail the gas before completeing the turn, and oyu're not holding the hweel tight, the wheel will jerk to one side or the other (forgot which). Also when accelerating hard in earlier high-power FWD cars, the car would pull to the right or left when accelerating. Newer FWD cars engineer out this torque steer with suspension geometry so you can hardly feel it. I've only felt good torque steer in my Max while pulling out of tight corners.
I think the 1-2 shift is just caused my one tire losing traction more than the other when you pop the clutch out. This causes one wheel to grab, accelerate, and pull you to one side. It's basically the same as torque steer
