For the Newbies: Fiber Images agreed to make Carbon fiber hoods for 3rd gens if we got together 10 people. The agreement was $225 now $225+$100(Shipping) to get the hood after 10 people put the deposit down. Yes after months of torture 10 people commited and the hoods are in production

When can someone order one?
The Group Deal people can finish paying theres now and the reg orders($650) wait intill these 10 hoods are made.

How can I finish paying?
Fax your Credit Card #, Driver License #, Name, address and note of authorization to Connie at FI 1-661-274-9555 then call there reg # to verify everything like I did. They don't answere the phone all the time but did answere the minute after I sent my fax.

Two people not on the ist say the recieved a CF hood and who's next in line is a mystery to me.

David WOULD YOU please call Fiber Images and find out who hood has been sent and whos next. Also when the next few hoods are out. I would also like to know how to take care of the hood and if it should be on in the winter?

it doesnt matter, when I get my hood, i can be last on the list for all I care.. as long as i actually get a Hood some time or another.

The reason I dont care when I get it.. is because I recently wrecked my max last monday, just weeks after I did my 5spd conversion.. oh well crap happens.. So im not gonna be driving my max anymore and getting 02 WRX, but i still want my hood, because im still going to finish my turbo motor and perhaps buy another maxima to drop that motor in (after i pay off the wrx 1st haha)

so good luck to all with the hoods i hope they come out great.. and drive safely...please i dont want to see anymore wrecked maximas

i got mine on wednesday i went to nopi over the weekend and saw the infamous se-r max. he actually parked next to me. car lokos good by the way. connie said someone named addae was next. i think that is da-max. after that i don't know.

David sent me a pic, not too good (it was sort of a close up) its on my lap top though,

I got my hood yesterday, in perfect condition except for a small part in the front but when I have it cleared they can take care of it, also mine doesnt have a FI badge. I can post pics tonight if anyones interested, not on the car though.

You mean you haven't sold that thing yet??? If this radio GD goes through, and I can sell my CVA-1000 (interested parties, see the F/S Other forums), I have absolutely NO PROBLEM sending you the money.

 

Connie told me Monday that my hood was shipping out on Tuesday (yesterday) and that I should have it in 3 days.

So maybe I'll get it this week, that'd be great.
