Re: Engine Swap

Hmm a good engine swap is a JDM SBC20DET. They have 300hp/300tq and drop right in. The engine comes from a japanesse Nissan/Datsun 911 turbo . Its a good motor I could get you a good deal on one .

A perfect engine swap for you would be a rebuilt VG30E

The only real feasible one would be a vg30et or you can get a vg30e an add the turbo later with the other Equipment needed. Best thing about having a 2nd gen Max is the vg30et from a 1988 300zx turbo is basic bolt and play with minor extra things. Whole thing could be done for 1000-1400. Come to think of it. Im kinda dumb. I paid 1550 just to rebuild my vg30e engine in my max just recently, just think I couldve had a turbo in my max. Oh and that 1000-1400 price range is with you doing the work yourself.
