clear corner problem

The bottom of my clear corners are separating from the housing. I called greg a custommaxima and he said to bend it into place and silicone it back together. Problem is it wont stay together, the silicone isnt strong enough to hold it. Also the tape or glue that seals the unit is peeling off. This is ugly and its letting water into the unit which is going to corrode the light sockets. And the other side is all fogged up like condensation in the lens. I checked the vent on the back of the housing isnt plugged or anything. Any one know how to fix this. Im seriously thinking of putting my stock corners back on. Because these clears are falling apart.

I bought courtesy corners, they lasted about 4 months before the split. Replaced them with custommaxima corners, they lasted a week then split. Glued both pair back togeather, cracked the old pair in the process and gave them to my buddy to put on his 94. His are doing good, mine split even more this time.

I just couldn't take it anymore and put the stockers back on.

some1 needs to design a better light !

not too many aftermarket parts are as stong or last as long as oem...

i bought a pair off stealth max and had the same promlem. if you want to keep them glue them back together with some sort of stong adhesive and while the glue is drying use a couple C clamps to hold them tight but not too tight or you will crack the lens. and also put some rags in between the C clamp and the lense just to be safe.

i also had the same problem. i wish somebody would design a better clear corner. our cars look much better with the clear corners, but i'd rather have my stock ones on there fitting right, instead of the clears falling apart.
