wiring codes for stereo

whats the wiring codes for the nissan maxima head unit? I can't seem to find it on the forums. And when i looked at the faqs it was a bit sketchy. I want to replace the stock one but can't seem to find the coding. I looked for a wiring harness but couldn't find one.

PS I'm in australia.

..

the best way to find this is to searh for the harness:

1. go out buy a harness
2. use it as a reference
3. return it to the store when done

i wasn't able to find an accurate color code for my stock system online either. good luck.

Wired it up (used the wiring codes that were available on the original head unit - thank god they were there or i would have been all nite trying to work out what wires go where). Sounds sweet as. Now to go out and buy the other stuff for the sound system.

I bought a maxima adaptor and succussfully hooked that adaptor with my new JVC mp3 player. I double checked all the connections with a multimeter. When I installed it, the new player turns on and off, antenna comes out and goes in, radio can be tuned. But there is no sound coming out of speakers. I put back the old factory-fitted Bose cassatte player and it worked fine again. Any comments!
