Some questions

Ok I just had a 30000 service done, got the coolant and transmission changed and flushed and a new fuel filter as well as replacment of some drive belts. They said my spark plugs were fine and I just changed the air filter. Anyway they told me all my brakes are at 15% My rear left drum makes some thudding noises as I come to a stop usually when it is a pretty sudden stop. Last time that happened discount tire told me I had 2 percent left and I had the rear brakes completley re-done; lining, hardware and cylinders. That was at 96446 miles. Right now I have 102000. Anyway what should I do about that? My second question is that I usually put in some injector cleaner every oil change, and I talked to a mechanic that said doing that brings all the rust and crud from the gas tank into the injectors. So should I use cleaners or not? I used z max and had some mileage improvements last oil change. Thanks for your help.

Every 3000, but do you have any ideas on the drum brakes? I hate drum brakes btw, my discs have lasted me much longer.

Be careful with that fuel injector cleaner and all the other cleaners, they usually recommend every 4000 miles, don't wanna put too much in. Brakes aren't my department though, sorry man.

on another thread on this site smoeone said that fuel injector cleaner and octane booster and many other fuel additives contain stuff that can break down the fuel injector o-rings which isn't hard to replace, but wouldn't be fun to do.
