Headlight Problems

Headlight Problems

I put in those supper white bulbs in my headlights about a month ago and now they dont work. The right side I have no regular and highbeams and the left I dont have highbeams. I took the bulb out and it looks fine. Anyone have any ideas whats wrong? Thanks

most of the "super white" bulbs sold are higher wattage than stock. if so, I would bet you money that they've ruined your headlight harness because the connectors can't flow enough current.

the fix:
1. buy new headlight sockets. about $5 each from a parts store.
2. reinstall your stock bulbs, or put regular wattage bulbs back in.

the other fix:
buy an upgraded headlight harness for about $60 and install it to use with the higher wattage bulbs.
