Gas Tank Started Leaking

As I was on my way to a closing today, I stopped to fill my car up with gas, next thing I know, when it stopped pumping my gas tank was leaking. I went to a mechanic and he told me that it was just a fuel hose and that I was in luck because the tank would have cost me like $600 plus $20 to fill up... I think the D*** at the gas station over pumped and put to much pressure in the hose. To make a long story short, im short $100 for the hose.

Bottom Line, don't use GULF!!!!!!!!!!!!

there's no way they could have put too much pressure in the hose unless they were using compressed air and had the top end of the filler tube sealed off.

these hoses do wear out after long periods of time and require replacement.
