what muffler should i get an apexi n1 or the borla wailtail what do u guys think both are some what rice buy i dont care please dont tell me to get greddy cause i dont like how it looks

 

Go to yahoo.com and type greddy exhaust. See how it looks and you might want that instead of those other two.

my boy has a 93 del sol with a gsr motor in it and hes got the n1 and its loud as hell, I can hear him almost a mile away on a quiet night, hes getting rid of it and getting a cat-back. btw I wouldnt not buy a muffler because of the way it looks, because if you want performance the greddy will probably out perform the N1

 

 

I dont think there's gonna be much difference, both will be loud and neither will give you that much power increase.
It's gonna be hard for someone to describe their sound accurately online so you'd probably have to hear it for yourself and then choose for yourself. When I searched, I found a thread where someone else had mentioned that on the websites for those exhuasts, they might have sample clips of the sound.

Borla = "WAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Apexi = "WaaaaAAAAaaaa"

 

I only care for the greddy's looks when its on a car with a body kit. the huge tip sittin in the middle of nowhere under the bumper makes it look huge.

 

imo the tip on the Greddy is way too big, i love the VE stock dual tips...the way it shines when your looking at it from the passenger rear side, i keep my tips nice and shiny

 

the N1 is just as big if not bigger then the Greddy one though

 

Get a 5th gen muffler... I love them progressive flow masterpieces!

oh youll stand out. Im telling you the N1 is LOUD, not a little bit but real LOUD

 

Last night I was able to hear N34JZ's greddy and it sounds just right not too lound just right. I am in the process of attaining one hopefully soon. I would go with the Greddy.
