I don't have the money for Eibach's or Tokico's but I want to upgrade the handling a little. Will I notice any real change in the handling by installing just the sway bar set with every other suspension component stock? Thanks.

You'll defenitnly notice a difference. the FSTB will be the cheapest big improvement though i think.
Just my opinion

I'll let you know when I put mine on. gonna order them tomorrow from NOPI. Rest of my suspension i stock (except for new Gabriel sensatrac front struts, but i wouldnt really call those a mod

sooner or later I'll get Eibachs and KYB's probably. Don't want an ant scraper of a car, but I want slightly lower and firmer.

i got the suspension tech sways with just my stock suspension and i noticed quite a bit of difference. my springs arrived the same day and we put in the sways first and then i drove it around for a couple of hours trying to notice a difference. i wasnt huge....but it did improve handling a lot. then we put the springs in that night and they really improved it more too. but i'd say a fstb would do a lot too.

FSTB

I will most likely be getting the FSTB for Christmas and the sway bar set is far away but I wanted to know if it was worth the $250 or if a CAI would be better to go with, because I will most likely have to choose between the two, but I have a lot of time to decide.

Well you can make a CAI for a total of like 10 or less bucks(plus cost of filter itself). I did it to mine today...it may not look as 'professional' as a 200+ dollar intake but its tidy and it serves its purpose. ill have pics soon.

Struts first

If you still have the original front struts, they are shot. The original front struts weren't to firm to begin with, and fade fast. The rears last much longer because there is relatively little weight in the back of the car. By 40,000 miles GXE's handle like a POS. You'll get the biggest improvement by changing the struts first. I put KYB GR-2's in the front and it transformed the car. (Much bigger difference than a FSTB, which I also have.) The KYB's are at least as firm as SE struts, and match the dampening of the original rear struts well. If you do the work yourself, it costs under $200 for new struts and boots. If you have "clunk" in the front end replace the top sturt bearings also.

Is that "clunk" when you turn the steering wheel while moving in a different direction (F or R) or does it happen when you turn all the time??

Foo- definetly post those pics whenever you get a chance. I've got much more free time than I do money so I was thinking of crafting my own CAI. Let me know how it turned out and pics would be cool too.

Thanks

CAI

I'm also very interested... don't really want to spend over $200 on some PVC pipes and clamps

Heck I already have a filter to put on, but I suppose I can splurge and buy a new one for $30!

Foo: I am also very interested. I want all these mods but can't spend alot of money. Plus it is more fun to do it yourself from scratch, I get more satisfaction out of it. Thanks in advance
