So my max has 128,000 miles on it and it's 6 years old, but it still has all the stock exhaust equipment. Any ideas on how long before I need to replace and any suggestions besides a Y-pipe and a muffler(maybe Ractive, heard some people talking about them or a glasspack, some people on here have those)? Any brands to stay away from or pay extra money for? Thanks.

as for mufflers i got an arospeed. they have a huge selection and they're all around $125. i got the dual dtm style which i think looks best on the max.

How does that muffler sound? I'd like something with a bit more growl, but not a lot. My Celica is my loud car Maybe one of these days I'll get a Y2K Maxima muffler (variable chamber)

its pretty much just a straight thru. doesnt sound all farty like a honda or something though....really nice low growl. when idling its barely noticable but when you step on it that sucker screams. i love it.

midus mufflers suck

when i got my car it still had a midus muffler under warranty. so i had it replaced free. it already sounds crappy. midus sucks. those mufflers must be the crappiest mufflers.
