I want to see what the plastic thing on the side will look like if I restore it back to that gold color, before I actually do it, but it doesn't seem like gold is a very popular color(I've searched alot of places)...

I found these by searching for "gold pics" in the 3rd gen forum

http://www.geocities.com/brandmax2002/My_Gold_Max.html

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ight=gold+pics which is by Laly, his cardomain page is http://maxima.cardomain.com/member_p...page_id=156787

http://maxima.cardomain.com tons more there, but you'll have to look through a bunch of pages to find them

here's one I found right away in the 1989 section:

Restore? What are they now? I have a pale gold 92 SE that had severely sunburned (?) looking door bumper strips. I replaced them with strips from a black SE and the appearance of the whole car improved markedly! Matches the black trim, mirrors, etc. Wish I could show you a pic but I'm waiting to recieve my 2000 5 spokes.

As one of the posters recently said; " the world would be a better place if there were more 3rd generations with 5 spoke wheels"
I concur. RZ
