Alarm System help.

Recently, I found my alarm system does not work.
As I recalled, Pepboy changed brake light wire for my car a weeks ago.
Do you think it is related each other? And how to get alarm system back or how to check it?

Thanks.

Dear Brendan:

I am sure my car has alarm system before. But I do not when it stop to work.

Before if I unlock the trank before unlock the door, it alarms. Or if I unlock the door by lifting the button inside not by using the key outside, it also alarms. But in both cases, it does not alarm.

Is all of these information helpful for you to know what is problem with my car (91'Max SE).

Thank you very much for your time and help.

could be a large number of things, bad sensors, short in the alarm wiring. You should either check all the sensors yourself, make sure the car doesnt think that a door is open (check the indicator light on your dash) go through and check the wiring. If you don't knwo how to do all this find someone who does or bring it to the mechanic. If its gonna be alot to fix just forget it and buy a new alarm system for less money. Goodluck
