me and my random ideas...
ok, so craig in his wisdom has on his site has a how-to on how to put in an extra light on the dash...ok, and theres a way to hook up a tranny temp gauge, which i feel is a great idea for us auto owners, except...where am i gonna put the thing? my dad put one in on our van, but there were blank spots on the dash to put gauges; i dont see that here...so....what about hooking up a system so that if the tranny reaches a certain temperature, the light comes on? brilliant right? except i have no clue what temp i would use or how to hook it up, and now i rely on others expertise here b/c i am a total retard good job

You can buy an a tranny temp gauge. Basically is hooks up by you dilling a hole where the tranny flud is, screw in a temp sensor and the sensor tells the gauge what to read. You can mount it whereever suits you. If you don't already have an aftermaket transmission cooler, don't waste money with a gauge, get the cooler first.

Or perhaps modify a digital readout to register the tranny temp and use the coin tray as a mount point.
