spark plug q.

ok before i changed the spark plug wires, my bose stereo speakers were making this really annoying sreeching sound, and it lasted for a long time, when i checked the wires, and the black connecter thing that connects the wires together, i unpluged one of the wires and it was completely torn up, but when i replaced it with new ones, my speakers seems to work.. i know it sounds wierd....

What wire was really torn up, spark plug or speaker? If spark plug wire it might have been RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) or just good old electrical noise. Be glad it's fixed, that could have been a tough to find. Eletrical noise problems sometimes defy logic.

Do a search on radio squeal...it's a pretty common problem with the Bose system, it's probably gonna come back again

Only time will tell. Electrical noise problems can be extremely difficult to find!
