Tinted tail lights

Ive been seeing all these 3rd gen. maximas with tinted out tail lights, and the rear bar, all blacked out. I was wondering if anyone could give me detailed step by step instructions on how to do that, without it looking like crap...or if someone knew a site that had it...
thanks

Do you know if the 92 SE bar will fit on a 89 GXL?

I think that 89-91 SE's came with the middle bar black- no red at all. Then the 92-94 SE's came with tinted tails- still red but just darker. If you want the middle black, just get tails from an old SE, although IMO the 92-94 SE tails look the best.

or u can just buy some tint spray...here in Toronto/Canada....it costs like $20.oo so down in the U.S ....it should b around $10.oo

just take off ur taillights and tape up the chrome borders and paint away.....2 coats of the tint spray is good..but if u want it darker...then put around 4 coats or so

89-91 SE tails
92-94 GXE tails
92-94 SE tails

send me your tails, $21 ($6 for spray and $15 for my time)+shipping both ways and i'll tint them.
there should be no questions asked here, its very very basic. tape when you dont want tinted, that includes your trunk. it works better if you do several small coats with the lights off the car. dont be a dumb@$$ like me and try to separate the lense and tint the inside, it just doesnt work.
