Okay, half the people on here have just a straight up universal muffler on their stock exhaust system and call it an 'exhaust', like it's anything different. Dont take what you see about people having 'Arospeed exhaust' or 'Matrix exhaust' or 'Flowmaster exhaust' to mean anything.

The only straight up full bolt on performance exhaust available for our cars is GReddy, and I think WSP has theirs done now. Other than that, it's just universal muffler and custom piping or no piping for that matter.

does the greddy have the same v8 growl or any ricey sound as the other exhausts, like on the civics and eclipses?

At 1,000-4,000 rpms it sounds like a 'ricey' civic and eclipse.
At 4,000-9,000 rpms (yes it goes there) it sounds like a growling v8.

If you don't know anything, go read about it before you post messages on a public forum and embarass yourself. I'm not talking about this thread alone, but you've been posting quite a bit. Please take chris's suggestion, go to google, type in "exhaust systems" READ AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, more than 1 hour. The same goes for ANYTHING you have questions about.

Actually I dont think it will sound ricey what so ever with any exhaust. It's not a 4 cylinder with high compression so regards of what exhaust you put on it, its goin to sound like a v6. Whether or not its goin to be raspy is another topic.

No one is asking you to leave. It's my opinion that the majority of questions you've been asking are easily answered by the search function here on the org or by google. I want you to learn about the things you're asking, and by asking us to give you the answer immediately, you may get the answer, but you don't actually learn about the whole topic. Do some research and you'll benefit from it.

Within the next month I will be making a vid and/or mp3 comparo of my stock exhaust and wsp y/i/cat/b and borla turbo muffler. Holy Sh*t, I just typed a long response to this topic and forgot about the 60sec post limit so it erased the stupid message!

if you get a straight thru muffler- its gonna be pretty hard to escape that ricey drone when its revving down. on wide open throttle it should sound really good though. ur call

Do you have a GReddy?

It's silent anywhere under about 4k. It doesnt ever sound 'ricey'. It sounds like just what it is, a nice, quality catback exhaust.

And it's 'RPM'.

If you go to a quality shop that specializes in custom exhaust setups, you can probably get a superior system for much cheaper. I know I did. GReddy is a very trusted name, though, and WSP has been nothing less than great to 3rd gen Maxima owners...

Cuz it bugs me so much. It's really really horribly incorrect, makes you sound dumb, and will get you laughed at by any real car buff. In all honesty, when I'm talking cars with someone and I hear them say RPM's, I'm thinking 'what a moron'.

I mean, it's not said MPH's is it!?

I've wondered how the Brullen sounds. It's been a long time since I thought about it though. Seems to be pretty uncommon.
