my 2 cents being a newbie.seems like you guys get a little over agitated when some newbie like me ask a silly question that can be researched.some people just want to get straight from the proverbial horses mouth.but sometimes getting stressed out like you guys do will turn people off to this xcellent site.its loaded wth great info and opinions from other 3rd generation owners.lets remember that we are maxima guys not mercedes or bmw snot noses.overlook....you'll live longer.

We understand that its no fun to get flamed or "attacked." But the simple fact is, it has come from the "horse's mouth" so many times that just repeating it gets annoying. Seriously, searching can help you so much about your car so that way, when you finally do have a question, it can be constructive.

Think of this equation:

More posting + less searching = server busy message

And nobody wants the server busy message

read this, just the first sentance-->

https://maxima.org/forums/showthread...hreadid=121625 (in plain sight and in effect since 5/2002)

what is so wrong with taking out some time to search before you post....I just don't get it :confused ...its not like the search gives you any STDs or anything

that's right boy, the info is there, why don't they look it up? Should people look it up for them? Should they ask again and again and again when the info is already there? if a newbie asks a question and no one responds to it, does the newbie make a sound?
