VE30 Sensors

Alright, a few of you have attempted to help me locate the cylinder head temperature sensor on my '94 VE, but I'm a buffoon and I can't seem to find it. Can anyone give me ultra-detailed descriptions of where it is and what it looks like/should look like? How does one go about properly cleaning it and making sure the wiring harness is sound? Rosenken, I'm hoping you see this, because you seem to know more about VEs than most, and I had the same thought that you had about VE's - that this so-called "heat soak" problem would have occurred from day 1 in these cars if it were a problem of design. Any other tips on lost power with a VE with good VTC's, let me know.
