Making the cheapest -most effective intake.

Ok, I now have two intakes not both hooked up. But together the cost $200 - as much as CAI. I don't want to pay that much more, but what would be the most effective way I could make my own CAI, and have it as good or better then what I could buy? I do wan't to contine to use the Intake with it. I saw a couple, from putting drying hose from end to in front inside of car, or making it out of PVC, but what would be most effective, power wise? Something that I can make myself..

You're asking if Half an intake is good as a full intake. you need people to answer that for you. wow..

so what do you have exactly? two pop chargers with adaptors? why not sell both try and get 75 for each then buy the wsp CAI for $140 (or what ever it goes for now)?

I just bought them, didn't want the other one though. I just don't want to use them for a day, and turn around and sell it for 1/2 the price, and am not sure if CAI would give much more performance, or at least enough to justify cutting a hole in the car. So I'd rather make it more out of the way, if possible..
