yeah, one of the coupling reduces... i bought the exact same kit you did, i just stretched out the coupling to fit on the pipe... if you cant get it to work, then id just pick up one at the hardware store for like 2bux.

and you can use either the stock rubber hose, or the one that came with the kit, i used the one that came with the kit, but just had to grease up the end and force it on the other side, cuase it was hard to get on. heh, but im only 5'4 115lbs so you should be able to get it on with a lil elbow grease hehe.

i bought the third kit as well. what size coupling would i need in order for it to connect from the mafs to the intake piping. right now im securing it with tape and the coupling that came with it. the couplingcan be stretched? i put short side but its doesnt stay. if i bought the coupling at homedepot what size would i look for 3" to 3"? i need to un ghettor rig this setup. the way i have it now looks ghetto inside of my engine bay.

Hey guys I got the intake on it sounds awesome. One problem the yellow hose that gets connected from the nipple on the pipe to the nipple on the engine i cant get it on. it wont fit the nipple on the engine its just too small. i tried greasing it and everything its drivin me crazy. so what i did so i could take it for a spin and test it is put the stock hose on the engine side then stuck the yellow hose INSIDE the stock hose and then connected the end of the yellow to the pipe. this goes to show how much a difference the size of the stock hose and the hose that comes with the intake is. I dont know any suggestions what i could do cause i dont wnana leave it the way i have it setup now it looks ugly.

hmm... after takin a look at mine, i noticed there is a small tear on the hose that goes to the engine, that must be why it fit, i must have tore it when i was getting it on... but i tightened it up pretty good with a clamp so i have no worries... if the colored hose fits pretty well inside the stock one, without play or movement, then id just cut a small like half inch piece off and stick it in the bottom of the stock hose, then connect it to the nipple, and secure it with the clamp pretty well....

Thats the same type splicing job i did also. How did you get your filter to fit to the end of the mafs? i used the filter i alredy had bought b4. Also how is it that your coupling is blue when the hose is yellow. My kit came with yellow hose and yellow coupling. Looks good I'll post pics of my setup soon(as soon as i get a day off or can borrow my sister's digicam). It simmilar but instead of the blue coupling i took the coupling from the air filter that came with the intake and clamped that thing on there. Same chrome tubing but i have 3" filter at the end Too bad the thing is kinda dirty looking. i need to get a mafs adaptor or a airfilter cleaning kit. Lol o well at least i got rid of the ugly tape job i had b4 to keep it on with no leaks. Do you know where i can get that blue coupling or something comparable to what you have or did yours come with the kit. If so its ok it was cheap kit i bought off ebay so no complaints. Cheap and better than your ordinary pop charger. I'm one of you guys a proud owner of a hybrid intake.
