Power/Comfort switch loose

Oops, didn't check after posting. Not sure what happened to the actual problem text, so here it is again. Sorry. Made some progress during lunch time, but still not quite done...

Orignal post -

While fiddling with the switch, it came loose and I'm not sure how I'm supposed to put it back again. Nothing seems to be physically broken. Looking down at the receptacle, I see a small metal ball on the right. 'P' light comes on while turning on the engine.

At lunch time afterward -

Fiddled with it some more, and found a small notch on the left within the receptacle, and I can now make P/C light come on, but the switch is still very loose. Is this normal? I don't see what's holding the switch in place.

Any help would be appreciated.
