Well, I've got a set of 1900x that I may or may not install on my Max, depending on if I'm gonna buy a Stillen front lip or not. Still up in the air about that. But if I do, I'm sure I'll be selling my stock fogs.

Cool. Well keep me posted on both accounts. Let me know where you might be trying to order your Stillen kit from, and then let me know if you are trying to get rid of the stocks... thanks.

Why not get the Maxima GXE Bosche Foglights. They are alittle smaller and better looking. They are like $90 from nissan.

Optimus,

Does the Hella 550 fogs require any extra fixtures to fit in the fog attachment? my stock fogs are rusted completely and i wanna change to aftermarket.
Any tips on the installation would be welcome.

sorry for the late response. the 550's come with their own fixtures, they basically replace whatever fog system you had. i never had stock fogs on my gxe to begin with so i wouldnt know what the fog attachment is. the 550's have all the mounting hardware you need, they attach to the bumper (or wherever else you put them) by one large screw, which you fasten to the bumper with a bolt. basically to install them all you need to do is drill the appropriately sized hole wherever you want them to be mounted, and then hook up the wiring. the nice thing about the 550's is that they look like the stock fogs, are made of very hard, thick plastic so they wont rust, and come with very good hardware from what i can tell (rock shields for the lights, a beefy looking relay, well packaged and quality-looking connections), plus hella is german so you know they have to be good

Thanks optimus.

The drilling part is what i was trying to avoid. i am looking for some replacements that would go directly into the stock fixtures, but my research so far tells me two things...
1. Used stock fogs are VERY rare.
2. and every aftermarket fog light comes with its own unique fixture.

i checked the Hella 550s online and yea they look exactly like the stocks.
I will experiment with the Hellas. I wonder what NEW stock fogs will cost me from nissan...anybody know that?
