Well, I thought that my good old gas leak had gone away, but it has reappeared with a vengence. I figure I should probally do something about this since it is a fire hazard and driving around in a car that smells like gas isn't much fun. Well anyways, does anyone have any prices on replacing the fuel lines, especially the hard-to-get-to one behind the manifold. I will most likely get my mechanic to do the work, unless it is something simple. I know people have posted about the leak before, but I never heard any prices that seemed relevant. Thanks.

Well it sucks that you have the VG. Becuase you might have some fuel hoses under your manifold that are leaking also. it's not that hard if you are okay w/ DIY jobs. If you had a mechanic do the work, I would roughly estimate about 2 hours of work and about $5 in fuel injection hose. mechanics charge anywhere from $35-$75 per hour.

well...

I have never even changed the oil in my car, seeing as I have owned it officially for somewhere around 3 weeks and it is 2 degrees outside. I really don't have the time, tools, maxima knowledge, or workspace to undertake such a project. Thanks for the info though.
