I also came out to my car the other day and I closed my sunroof. I then noticed that my glass was cracked. Anyone heard of weak glass, or is this just my bad luck?

 

thats weird, i thoguht that glass was pretty strong, was it a big crack, or small? If it was small chances are something hit it, otherwise I dunno I wouldn't imagine it would crack on its own. Try to get it replaced with insurance. If you dont have collision or antyhing and its not under your name, claim it happended at home and have it covered by homeowners insurance. Goodluck

 

Mines cracked in the corner. How did it happen? Dont know. But it seem the tint on the glass is preventing it from leaking or spreading!! I consider myself lucky.

 

mine is cracked also...just defective glass I guess...

 

chalk another vote for the cracked glass...right in the corner. been that way since i bought the car back in 99

 

Here's another one. Mine is cracked also in the corner. Don't know how it happened either. Maybe hail or something not to worried about it though.
