he also painted the plastic trim between the lights. It's asy to do. I did the same thing on my '84 Celica a couple years ago. Made some cardboard circles, stuck them on the lights with clay, and painted away. Looks great. I'd never do it on the Max though, the nice 3rd gen taillights have to make up for the new 5th gen fugly ones
