it was like 11 this morning and i was coming back from my 1st delivery (i work at pizza hut, dont make fun cuz i make bank ) and i was going around one of those eropean-style roundabout things, where 4 streets intersect and you go in a circle, well i was going around and this dumbass runs the yield sign and runs right into me. she was going fast too. i got mad whiplash, but i didnt really feel it until i got home. thankfully thats all the injuries that happened, she was fine. the funny thing is that it was my next door neighbor that ran into me. kinda crazy. but my car is definitely not fine. the right front end is done with. the fender is done, the bumper and the hood too. the radiator busted, and i dont know but the engine might of moved a little. there might be axle problems too because i pulled my car out of the intersection and it could hardly move. im filing my claim tomorrow, hopefully i get good money. if its totalled im probably either gonna get a ve 5 spd if i can find one in good condition, or i might go with a 240 s13... craving rwd and drifting. sr20 too.. oh yeah ill have pics up of the accident sometime this week if anyone wants to see it.

 

I feel your pain matt, sorry about the accident. But you certainly have some good ideas with your options for a new car. Get a VE 5 speed if you can find a good one, and you need 4 doors. If you are good with 2 doors, I would definately try and go for the SR20DET swap in an S13. That would be a great project to work on. Good luck.

hey man me too! i was lookin for my friend's house way out in the sticks at night and went down a freshly paved road that lead to a cul de sac, turned around, realized there wasnt even a stop sign up yet....and flew head first right into the ditch. doesn't seem to have any problems except the fenders are kinda bent a little more (they were already bent from a previous encounter with a fence... ) and a bunch of rocks and dirt up in my grill which flew out on my way home. i was good and buried into the ditch wall, which made minor scuffs on the front bumper, and my wheels were off the ground so i called up my dad and he pulled me out. what a guy. drives fine. no leaks. and thank god cuz im takin my baby to Socal next week so it has to be runnin good!
