What do you guys think of these? http://www.aerocharger.com/ Do you see any problems with them being self lubricated? On this other site they turboes a honda civic si http://www.drturbo.com/hondacivic.html. It's now pushing 210 hp from 160 hp. It's non ic'ed. The engine is also running on 9.8:1 cr. I e-mailed them and asked them if they had any turbo that would work well on a v6 and what kind of psi can be pushed through these things he sent this
"TURBOS COME IN 2 SIZES #53 IS GOOD FOR 250 HP AND #66 FOR 450HP 8-10 LBS ARE MAX FOR STREET USE DR TURBO"

any comments/flames/ideas on this?

Very very novel idea. Should work well to reduce lag in theory, but a few things to consider. If you have a vg engine, you need a turbo with a T25 or T3 base, as this is what the manifolds for vgt and vgtt engine have, unless of course you hack it off and custoomize it. Second, you need to see what the compressor curves look like and what the outlet temps are at various pressures. more than 8psi will likely need an IC, but that's not a huge deal. ALso, it is ball bearing..very cool. But sealed/permenantly lubed has a few issues. Numbe one, having liquid cooled and oil fed aids in extending turbo life. With a non-cooled sealed turbo, you MUST run a turbo timer, or at least idle down for a few minutes after driving to keep from gunking up the lube in there and turning it to burnt sludge. And what do they cost?
