Flushing the radiator hey guys i flushed my radiator one year ago.. and im going to do it again tomorrow, one question, when you get the plug out and undo the radiator cap.. the coolant just starts shooting out the bottom.. almost hits the cat LOL then it would just slow down. THen Shoot some more... im like OMg coolant!!! AAAAA LOL!! any advice would kick $ss

 

pass some of that stuff you're smoking there.

 

if you mean you want it to all come out at once try opening the cap on the top of the radiator to let some air in there. othe than that, i really have no clue what you are trying to say...

 

yea this happened to me too. if you take the drain plug from the bottom out it comes out really slowly. as soon as you take the radiator cap, the coolant starts spraying out of the bottom like a hose.

 

ok.. i open the plug at the bottom of the rad. the i open the cap at the top.... it will come out slow and nice for a little bit... then all ov a sudden pow!!! (LOL) the collant will start shooting out super fast almost hitting the back of the car.. then it will slow up again .... then pow! it will start shooting out again! by the time im done i know ill have half the drive way coverd in used coolant.. and ill need a rabies shot.. o yea one more thing.. how much coolant will our rads. take?
